Tape drive repairs are carried out in CXP’s conveniently located Auckland-based service centre. This means your backup drives can be repaired quickly with no expensive shipping delays or communication breakdowns. Simply send your broken tape drive or tape autoloader to the Connexion Point repair centre along with your contact details.
5. Fixed prices for tape drive repairs, fair quotes, and no-obligation assessments.
Unless we have previously agreed on a fixed tape drive or autoloader repair price we will always provide you with a quote prior to the tape drive repair being carried out. You will be given the choice to go ahead with the drive repair or if you choose not to continue with the tape drive or autoloader repair you will only be charged a basic inspection fee and the return freight cost.
6. At Connexion Point we treat your tape drives as if we own them ourselves.
We guarantee a reliable tape drive repair service, but are also proud of the quality of presentation of the repaired tape drive. Before any repaired tape drives or autoloaders leave the CXP service centre, we either clean or replace your tape drive’s cosmetic components such as bezels, handles and enclosures, and use quality packaging materials such as sealed ESD protective bags.
